Sleep, meditate, breathe

· yoga,meditation,Lifestyle

Did you know that… practising meditation, deep breathing, yoga and repetitive prayer can help with insomnia?

Allow me to share with you some interesting research findings that support the above statement…

A study revealed that the relaxation response, which is the opposite of the stress response can be brought on by... meditation, yoga, yoga breathing and repetitive prayer.

The relaxation response is an effective therapeutic tool that counteracts the adverse clinical effects of stress in disorders including... hypertension, anxiety, insomnia and ageing.

“But why… SLEEP like that?” has a good bedtime routine, laid out for you and your child.

Some of the recommendations made in this book are… deep breathing, meditating and praying.

As all parents and carers know, trying to get a child with ADHD to do anything, is very challenging!

So… perhaps the teddy bears can inspire your child to meditate and pray at bedtime.

This may help them to keep still long enough, that they fall asleep!
