Did you know that… when you give or receive a hug, you increase the production of the ‘bonding’ hormone called oxytocin?

A good hug every morning may help your child deal with stress all day at school.

A hug will not only increase the production of the ‘bonding’ hormone but it will also decrease the stress hormone called cortisol.

Hugging has been found to:

  • be good for your heart
  • decrease blood pressure
  • decrease heart rate
  • reduce stress
  • improve mood
  • and, improve relationships!

So go on… give your child a big BEAR HUG!
