I know I don’t have to keep reminding you about the importance of relaxation but…

 

Did you know… research has shown that relaxation techniques can help with a variety of health issues?

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health has this to say about relaxation techniques for health.

Relaxation techniques may be helpful in managing a variety of health conditions, such as... anxiety,

mild depression,

insomnia,

headaches,

and

chronic pain in children and adolescents.

It is quite common for children with ADHD to suffer from anxiety, depression and insomnia.

So, why not try out some of the relaxation techniques recommended by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health.

In fact, all of these techniques can help all of us.

  • progressive muscle relaxation
  • breathing techniques
  • meditation
  • yoga
  • tai chi
  • guided imagery
