In 2017, a researcher published a review investigating the benefits of yoga in children.
All the studies included in the review involved: asanas (postures), pranayama (expansion of life force), dharana (concentration) and dhyana (meditation), which are the different paths in yoga.
The results revealed that yoga is an effective modality for helping children cope with stress and anxiety.
