Did you know that cruciferous vegetables have many health benefits?

According to the National Cancer Institute, many researchers are studying cruciferous vegetables.

The reason for the interest in this area is due to the fact that animal studies have shown that chemicals in these vegetables called indoles and isothiocyanates, have been found to inhibit the development of cancer in certain organs.

In human studies, people who eat greater amounts of cruciferous vegetables had lower risks of: prostate cancer, colorectal cancer and lung cancer.

In general, the higher the consumption of vegetables the greater the health benefits.

Why not start developing your child’s taste buds at an early age.
