Yoga can help depression, difficulty sleeping, and ADHD symptoms

· Relaxing,Sleeping,yoga

I’m sure you have all heard me say that relaxation is important!

Did you know... research has revealed that there is evidence supporting yoga for children with ADHD?

A scientific review was conducted in 2013 to investigate whether there was evidence to show that yoga was an effective treatment for certain mental health issues.

The reason the study was conducted was due to the demand to find: clinically effective, safe, patient acceptable and cost-effective forms of treatment for mental health disorders.

The results revealed that there was evidence supporting yoga for:
depression;
schizophrenia;
sleep complaints;
and
children with ADHD.

So, you might ask, how often should children with ADHD, practice yoga?

Let me make a suggestion… daily for 10-20 minutes or whenever they can fit it in with their hectic lifestyles!
