I don’t have to tell you how important it is to eat organic foods!

Did you know that… organically grown fruits and vegetables have more antioxidants.

Allow me to share with you some more interesting research findings that support the above statement…

In 2014, a review of 343 studies was conducted. It investigated whether there were differences in the nutritional composition of organic crops versus conventional crops.

The authors reported that the concentrations of a range of antioxidants were found to be substantially higher in organic crops.

The antioxidants that scored highly were the phenolic acids, flavanones, stilbenes, flavones, flavonols and anthocyanins.

According to these researchers…

Many of these compounds have previously been linked to a reduced risk of chronic diseases, including CVD (cardiovascular disease) and neurodegenerative diseases and certain cancers, in dietary intervention and epidemiological studies.

So you may want to consider buying organic produce.

If you can’t afford it, then rinse your vegetables and fruits under the tap and then soak them for 10 minutes in 1 litre of filtered water with about 200 mls of apple cider vinegar.
