I’m sure I don’t have to remind you how important exercise is!

Did you know, that playing table tennis can benefit children with ADHD?

In 2015, a study was conducted to investigate the effect of table tennis exercise on motor skills and executive functions in children with ADHD.

The researchers found that after 12 weeks of playing table tennis, children with ADHD showed improvement in motor skills and executive functions.

According to the Center for the Developing Child at Harvard University, the “Executive function and self-regulation skills are the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus attention, remember, and juggle multiple tasks.”

So improving the executive function area of the brain is important for all children, especially those with ADHD.

Quite often, when parents make suggestions, children with ADHD do the opposite!

So, why not let the teddy bears from the "But why...?" series do the work for you!

Let them, inspire your child to try table tennis!
